About this opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Consultant to lead and manage a diverse range of projects, guiding multidisciplinary teams to deliver high quality reports and visual solutions to our clients. You will be involved in developing project methods, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring projects meet client briefs, budgets, and timelines. You will engage in thought leadership and utilise and develop models to inform policy and investment decisions, while staying updated on industry trends. Additionally, you will contribute to team development through proactive communication and feedback.

You will be working in a multidisciplinary team primarily responsible for strategic land use planning, governance, local economic development and affordable housing policy, and other areas working collaboratively across all our teams as required. This is a permanent full time role, based in our Melbourne office, with flexible and hybrid work options available.

A bit about you

You have a bachelor's degree and relevant experience in the built environment with post graduate qualifications being a plus, especially if these are in economics, economic development, property or related fields. You are comfortable in both quantitative and qualitative domains of professional practice. You bring strong project management skills, leading multidisciplinary teams to successful project completion. You can conceptualise complex information, synthesise research, and distil technical details into clear, concise reports. You are proficient in presentation/report writing software such as Word and Powerpoint. As a professional, you are solutions-driven, ethical, and credible, with a knack for building relationships and influencing others. You thrive in collaborative environments and are always eager to learn and innovate. You are a passionate and engaging communicator both on your feet and at the keyboard.
