National cities performance indicator framework interactive dashboard helps all levels of government, industry and the community make good policy and investment decisions.
We worked with the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet to develop a National Cities Performance Indicator Framework Dashboard. The Dashboard’s framework measures how well Australian cities are performing against the Smart Cities Plan. It provides data to help all levels of government, industry and the community to make the best policy and investment decisions for Australia’s future.
We developed an indicators framework for the Dashboard in consultation with key stakeholders. This framework articulates city overviews and contextual indicators, as well as policy domains and related progress indicators.
We presented this information in an initial report, along with relevant data sources, measures, metadata, and an assessment of data quality and comparability across cities. We then collected, analysed and presented the data in appropriate geographies for the designated cities.
