Katie is an economist focused on solving infrastructure challenges so cities and regions can grow in ways that keep communities connected to jobs, education and essential services.

Having grown up on the edge of Melbourne’s greenfield growth areas, Katie has seen firsthand what happens when infrastructure struggles to keep pace with community needs, and how this shapes people’s access to opportunity.

With a background in econometrics and mathematics, Katie brings strong analytical capability to forecasting infrastructure demand and quantifying the economic and social value of infrastructure to support policy and investment decisions.

Across consulting and government roles, she has delivered forecasting, economic analysis and policy work spanning planning, transport, housing and industry. Katie is also skilled in GIS and interactive dashboard design, helping clients translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.

Outside of work, Katie enjoys reading, gardening and swimming at her local pool.
