Tuyu is an economist and policy analyst dedicated to tackling the climate crisis head-on.
With her Master's degree in International and Development Economics, Tuyu specialises in energy transition, industrial sustainability, and climate mitigation public policy.
Tuyu's expertise lies in policy evaluation for projects such as carbon offset programs, hydrogen, steel industry decarbonisation, transportation electrification, and land use change. She is skilled in translating policy implications into clear and actionable recommendations, providing both qualitative and quantitative analysis for her clients.
Tuyu has worked with international institutions and governments, including the World Bank and Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, as well as various academic think tanks. Her professional experience spans diverse sectors and regionally significant urban development projects. Tuyu led a multinational team to complete the 35-city Asia Pacific Industrial Sustainability Index 2022 and served as a committee member of the international urban research conference City+.
Before joining SGS, Tuyu played an integral role in organising and designing several Australia-China decarbonisation roundtables at the ANU Crawford School of Public Policy. She prepared a series of policy briefings to help highly qualified and knowledgeable audiences in business, policy and research understand and explore opportunities for decarbonisation.
During the weekends, Tuyu spends time being active by climbing, playing basketball, and skiing. She also enjoys discovering and experimenting with new recipes.
