Amanda is an urban planner working to shape more sustainable cities and regions.
Her key areas of interest are strategic planning studies and conducting needs assessments. She also has expertise in stakeholder consultation, housing demand studies, demographic analysis, geographic information system mapping, development feasibility modelling, and economic analysis to support community infrastructure.
A proud Canberran, Amanda has an in-depth knowledge of the ACT market and works with both public and private clients on projects of all sizes and budgets. Here are some project examples:
- preparing a demographic and community needs assessment for the proposed redevelopment of an existing industrial site
- conducting cost benefit analysis as part of a business case for new community facilities
- preparing a commercial floorspace study to inform a planning review, and
- assessing the impact of rail infrastructure improvements on housing supply and housing affordability.
One of Amanda's favourite things to do outside work is to spend time in nature honing her photography skills.
