Rowena Phua

Rowena is an urban planner seeking to develop vibrant town centres, create sustainable environments and find solutions that balance social, environmental and economic needs.

She has specialist expertise in strategic transport and land use planning, development and implementation of long-term strategic plans, stakeholder management and consultation and reporting.

Rowena’s project experience is wide-ranging. She particularly enjoys projects that involve town centre development, transport planning, night-time economy, healthy planning, as well as helping clients find solutions to adapt to a changing climate. In addition to her consulting role, Rowena sits on the SGS Board as an Executive Director.

Before joining our team, Rowena worked for Transport for NSW in the strategic transport planning division in several roles related to regional transport planning, interchange and precinct upgrades and development of long-term strategic plans.

Like many in our team, Rowena enjoys travelling overseas, exploring different cities and cultures, and observing how other urban environments function and are planned.
